In Taiki-cho, South Tokachi, Hokkaido,
a hidden place cradling a deep, little-known forest,

Taiki-cho, home to SUGOMORI, lies in South Tokachi — known as Japan's "Space Town" for hosting the Hokkaido Spaceport. At the southern edge of the vast Tokachi Plain, at the foot of the Hidaka Mountains, the untouched nature here has remarkably little light pollution, making it ideal for stargazing. About an hour by car from Obihiro, an extraordinary, unspoiled landscape awaits.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

  • Check-in is from 3:00 PM (since check-in is unattended, you may arrive any time after that).
    Check-out is at 10:00 AM.
    Please note that we are unable to extend check-out time.

By when should I change or cancel my reservation?

  • There is a supermarket and convenience stores in central Taiki-cho, about 5 minutes by car.
